The first U.S.-China Symposium on Nanobiology and Nanomedicine (UC-NBM2008), will be held in Beijing, China, from Oct. 20 (Monday) to Oct. 22 (Wednesday) 2008. It will provide an international forum for presentation and discussion of exciting new advances in this emerging research area. Not only does the UC-NBM2008 choose the basic sciences of nanobiomedical research and nanosafety evaluation as the focal points for exploration, but it also spans the breadth of the subjects to regulatory procedures, environmental impacts and other applications in relevant fields. With the aims to promote academic, industrial and governmental research activities in Nanobiomedical and related sciences, the UC-NBM2008 will be surely dynamic, interactive, and intellectually stimulating. It will provide a unique opportunity for experienced scientists to exchange ideas, a casual place for attendees to establish collaborations, and a learning experience for students and post/docs. Those who are interested in nanobiomedicine and who are from universities, institutes, laboratories and companies in U.S.A and China are encouraged to participate and make contributions. Due to the limited space, the numbers of participants are expected to be limited to about 100 persons. |
